Flag Material Options
Compare nylon versus polyester materials to determine what material type is best for your needs.
Nylon
Our Nylon flags are crafted using aniline-dyed 100% heavyweight 200-denier nylon bunting. Nylon material is fast drying, treated to resist fading, and flies in the slightest breeze. Finished with white poly-cotton header.
Polyester
Our Poly-Max Flags are crafted using 2-ply 100% polyester bunting. The open weave construction reduces wind resistance, increasing flag life. Poly-Max material is extremely durable and ideal for commercial applications and high wind areas. Finished with white poly-cotton header.

Kansas State Flag Meaning and History
The Kansas flag is dark blue with the state seal displayed prominently in the center. The seal displays a river and steamboat to symbolize commerce, a rising sun, a man plowing a field near his cabin to symbolize architecture, and Indians hunting bison. There are 34 stars to represent Kansas as the 34th state to be admitted to the Union. Above the stars is the state motto in Latin which translated to “To the stars through difficulties.” There is a sunflower above the seal, while the state’s name is displayed prominently in yellow letters below the seal.
The flag was first designed in 1925 and was adopted as the official flag in 1961.
