Our Poly-Max Flags are crafted using 2-ply 100% polyester bunting. The open weave construction reduces wind resistance, increasing flag life. Poly-Max material is extremely durable and ideal for commercial applications and high wind areas. Finished with white poly-cotton header.

Delaware Flag Meaning and History

The Delaware flag is a colonial blue color and features a yellow diamond in the center with a depiction of the state’s coat of arms.

The coat of arms features wheat, corn, and an ox to signify the agriculture in the state. Two farmers support the coat of arms and the sailing ship above it. Below the shield reads “Liberty and Independence.”

Underneath the diamond, the date “December 7, 1787” is displayed prominently to remind viewers of the date in which Delaware become the first state to ratify the United States Constitution.

The current Delaware state flag was officially adopted on July 24, 1913.
